Meet Tony Nguyen.

Tony Nguyen (Born 2004, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) is a Vietnamese- American artist and entrepreneur

Tony began studying classical piano at age 4 in Ho Chi Minh City. By age 14, he earned the ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Certificate—the highest grade awarded by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. This strong foundation helped shape his musical discipline before he later expanded into contemporary music.

From Classical Piano to Contemporary Performance

During high school, Tony broadened his musical interests beyond classical piano through performing contemporary music in bands as both a singer and keyboardist. He was selected to perform at his high school graduation, an experience that further developed his interest in pop music and live performance.

Entering the Entertainment Industry

Tony’s entry into the public eye came in July 2023, when he made his entertainment debut walking at Vietnam International Fashion Week 2023. The appearance generated significant attention, amassing over five million views across social media platforms and marking his initial breakthrough into the industry.

National TV Debut

Five months later, in December 2024, he made his first public appearance as a singer, performing an original song he wrote on national television.

30,000+ Live Audience

In June 2025, Tony performed live before an audience of more than 30,000 in Vietnam, opening for some of the country’s most celebrated singers.

International Television Performance

In July 2025, he took the stage at the Miss & Mister Fitness Supermodel World 2025 finals, delivering a live performance of his original song to an event broadcast in 39 countries worldwide.

Education

Tony is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations (Global Business) at the University of Southern California, where he also studies Music Production at the USC Thornton School of Music.

Entreprenuership

In 2026, Tony co-founded Ba Má Records with USC alumnus Alex Chung. Drawing on his business background at USC and his experience in the music industry, Tony aims to support the next generation of Vietnamese talent and strengthen connections between Vietnam’s music industry and the global market. Through the label, he hopes to create opportunities for Vietnamese artists to develop their careers beyond domestic markets and reach listeners worldwide.
